FOOD IS LIFE (obviously) and with the world being so big and filled with such exotic flavors and cuisines it only makes sense to eat your way through every city, country, and continent. While I spent two years in Europe, I had the pleasure of being able to travel to a number of different cuisines, naturally, I made a bucket list of the foods that needed to eaten, tasted, licked, slurped, chewed or gulped throughout Europe.
Below, I have listed every country in Europe (even the small ones that no one really knows exists). Under each country, I have ONE food that I ate while in that country. I know what you are thinking…It is nearly impossible to capture the essence of flavor through one dish. I feel you, I really do. Although my wallet and waistline disagree. So despite my best efforts to try every delicious food a part of that culture, I did my best.
I am now, also, realizing that there were times when I was simply too hangry or hungry (probably hangry) to take a photo of my plate. I devoured the entire meal before I had a chance to #doitforthegram ☹️ I guess that just means that I will have to go back to Europe one day and finish my conquest: eat my way through Europe.

When we travel, it is hard not to discuss about the food along the way. They both go hand-in-hand like sisters in a pod. And we appreciate more the place because of their foods!

Eating is one of the primary characteristics of each country. All this food! Great job, now I’m hungry already.

reindeer meatballs is a good chose for Finland. 🙂 There are some nice national foods, but somehow, I think reindeer stuff is the best.
